Once you have your question you will want to gather the materials needed to do the experiment and write down the procedure you will need to do it. It is important to document how you will go about testing for the science project and follow it precisely.
Now that you have all the materials and have the procedure ready you can actually proceed with doing the experiment. Using graph paper can make the project much easier to track.
After completing the project write down what actually happened and your conclusion.
It is also helpful to take pictures of your project in action. It puts more of you into the experiment. You can also use these photos when putting your display together to present at the science fair. With many people owning ipods you can take digital photos and have a slide show on your ipod or your can do this on a laptop. Now not everyone has an ipod or laptop available but there is even a possibility you could borrow a laptop from a friend or teacher just to present the photos during your demonstration and they may feel like they are a part of your project if you involve them just to help with the computer presentation portion of the science fair project.
One of the most important aspects of your middle school science project is to have fun while you do it. Do not make is a chore or a burden. Instead look at it as a fun school learning project that you are not sitting at a desk reading a book.

Before we get started, it's helpful to know how math games are constructed and how they function.

Most math games simply add an animation to a math problem in a way that the two are unrelated. A horse jumps because two numbers were added correctly.
There a lots of this type, and the approach does seem to work for training multiplication tables or other basic functions. Timez Attack sets the stage for having created fascinating 3D worlds and a cute little frog for its character that seems as appealing to girls as boys.
Using conceptually disintegrated games for teaching more complex concepts may have some undesirable effects, and may cause a disconnect between the math concept and its meaning.
For deeper concepts, occasionally a game will pop up where the math concept is used in a context where the visuals makes sense. 4. Permanent Markers Test - Write with different markers on a piece of paper and see if they are actually permanent by using different types of solvents.

5. Chilling Onion Test - Chill an onion up in a freezer. Try cutting it and see if tears come from your eyes.

Whether it is addition, multiplication or division a little bit each day goes a long way in developing an understanding of those particular principles.

Show how math applies to daily life such as grocery shopping where you could count boxes of pasta, cans of vegetables and so on. Another way to explore math skills that people need in their day to day lives is baking. Following recipes can include time telling skills, fractions and more.

Let the good times roll. Many board games involve math skills but you can also make up silly songs using math that make learning very fun and enjoyable.

If you usually use worksheets try flash cards. Switching things up can make studying less ho hum so if you always use beads or cubes to count with why no try poker chips or even M&M's to stretch those math skills. A change of pace can be refreshing and therefore more interesting to learn.

Practicing math on a chalk board, dry erase board or even on paper with markers can help cement those mathematical concepts. Using different media such as bright markers give practicing a different flair so it is easier to stick with it longer.

Motivated students are always looking for that edge in the classroom. Even if you are a sub-par student grade wise, you can improve by leaps and bounds by learning some simple tips. Great students probably have learned or innately done some of these study tips. It's time to level the playing field.

Ask Previous Students

I am amazed at how many students fail to do this simple step. The single best way to know how best to perform in a teacher's class is to ask previous students. What you need to understand as a student is that each teacher grades differently. It doesn't matter how objective they claim to be, each teacher has their own private pecking order on things they find important. They have particular likes and dislikes. Think of it as market research. Then take notes.


Learn How Things Are Weighted

Once you understand your environment, it's time to understand the rules of engagement. Focus your most energies on the top 80%. If you do this, you will improve your chances dramatically. Way too many students just haphazardly study, omitting their targets. This is utter foolishness. These tips may not seem like study tips. Get Rid Of All Distractions

If someone asks you to study with them, grab your backpack and run for the nearest exit. Find a secluded place with absolutely no TV, radio, friends, drinks, food, video games, etc. Your library is a great example of this. And if your friends are at the library, find a private room or cube to get away.


It's All About The Schedule

Peyton Manning does well under pressure, you do not. Figure out what you have to study and when. Divide and conquer is the name of the game here. Schedule it out ahead of time so you aren't surprised. Make a calendar that lists all your major papers, exam, speeches, etc. Seeing your schedule will do wonders in how and when you study. It will also help you to pace yourself. Forget binge studying. It's dumb and isn't efficient.

Rewards Are All So Fine

Lastly, set up a goal and reward system for yourself. Try to hit those goals, have fun, and enjoy the spoils. This helps your motivation and just makes it fun. If you love going out to eat, go eat a steak if you get all A's. Above all, enjoy your experience and be successful as you do it.
